Box type questions
What is the difference between an RSC and an HSC box?
An RSC, or regular slotted carton, has flaps on the top and bottom. An HSC, or half slotted container, has no top flaps, which suits open-top loading or a separate cover.
What do single, double and triple wall mean?
They describe how many layers of fluting the board has. More layers add strength, so heavier or stacked loads usually call for double or triple wall.
Do I need to know the box style before I request a quote?
No. Describe the product, its weight and how it ships, and the supplier can recommend a style.
Ready to describe what you need?
Send your product, size, quantity and timing. A packaging supplier will follow up with a quote.
